Greetings everyone! I just wanted to make a little announcement about an honor that I recently received and am quite proud of.
I have been accepted by the U.S. Olympic Committee Sports Medicine staff to be a volunteer medical provider to provide services to Team USA’s elite athletes at Lake Placid, NY!
Last month, I sent in my application and other pertinent paperwork to the USOC to be considered for this prestigious appointment. I received word just last week on Friday afternoon that I had been accepted and I will be doing a 2 week volunteer rotation at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid at the end of April!
It’s quite an honor to be able to help and provide Chiropractic care to athletes that are training to be in the next Winter Olympics. Along with helping athletes that will be representing our Country, I’m also looking forward to learning new things from other medical providers there so that I can better take care of all of my current and future patients here in the Pittsburgh area.
Have a great day!
- Dr. Brent Shealer – Pittsburgh, Monroeville, Penn Hills Chiropractor
I can understand how and why Dr. Brent was chosen for this honor! He is top notch. I had problems with my lower back and neck for years. After receiving an examination from Dr. Brent he diagnosed my problems and has helped me tremendously. He is also very knowledgable in all fields of Athletics.
